BUCKIE TOWN CENTRE
A NEW plan to help improve the lives of people living in an area of Buckie is to be launched at a drop-in event tomorrow. There will be a chance for residents of the town’s east central area to drop by the North Church hall between 2pm and 4pm for a cup of tea and a chat about the latest version of the Local Outcome Improvement Plan (LOIP), which is being run by the Moray Community Planning Partnership (MCPP). Moray Council community support officer Tracey Rae said: “This plan brings together the key partnership actions which will help us to address the community’s priorities and enable us to build a better future for our children and young people. “Priorities and actions within the plan have been drawn and developed from recent community engagements undertaken in the Buckie central east area and by working, in conjunction with the local community, and with the local statutory and voluntary sector agencies. “The actions will be delivered through us all working together, by pooling resources and sharing knowledge. “It’s very much a community-led project for the benefit of the people here. “We hope that people will find the plan interesting and that it informs them of what we are doing to improve the outcomes for people in this area.” The event also features a free raffle.
