FitLife access deal launched

MEMBERS of FitLife can now enjoy free access to leisure facilities in four other local authorities. Moray Council announced there will be access to gyms, public swimming pools and fitness classes across the Highlands, Argyll and Bute, Orkney and the Western Isles at no extra cost. It will also offer access to other public sessions where cardholders can take part in many other activities such as running and indoor climbing. The Leisure Link Partnership is believed to be the first of its kind in Scotland. Councillor Sonya Warren, chairwoman of Moray Council’s children and young people’s services committee, said: “We’ve been championing the value for money FitLife membership offers and the Leisure Link Partnership makes it unbeatable value for money. Moray residents will now be able to benefit from the use of dozens of leisure facilities outwith Moray at no extra cost.” Ian Murray, chairman of Community Leisure UK and High Life Highland chief executive, said: “I am delighted to see the Leisure Link Partnership launched and look forward to seeing the scheme develop and grow .”
