STV’S Big Scottish Breakfast fund-raiser for young people affected by poverty was sizzling at two local venues. Before the school term ended, Millbank Primary’s breakfast club tucked into sausages donated by Buckie butcher Darren Anderson while over in Cullen youngsters from the nursery paid a visit to the residents at Wakefield House Care Home. Family and friends were invited along to the Millbank munchfest, with a sausages in rolls the reward for handing over a donation. The ranks of the club were swelled from their usual 4045 youngsters to around 160 people. At Wakefield House the nursery youngsters shared a bite to eat with residents before enjoying some fun activities with them.
